i don't know how many will remember this game but friday 13th for nes was an awsome game... for that time of course, you really felt the preasure of escaping from Jason.
azndr4g0n00 is right, many movies made of games suck, i disagree with Mortal Kombat (i liked the first movie) but the ones from Uwe Bole (Blood Rayne, The house of the dead, Alone in the Dark) the 2nd of MK, Super Mario Bros. and Street fighter i can live without.
On the other hand Silent Hill (wich has been recognized as part of the serie) and the first two movies of Residen Evil really make you remember the feeling of the games (S.T.A.R.S.
)
On a personal note i really liked Doom, though many found it simple, but just as some say: "don't mix story into my action"
