And I think you are asking, not for our opinions, but for this forum's philosophy.
Assuming you want the philosophy, and btw I'm only guessing at it:
Try to maximize users, please them and don't offend them, even if they're ubernewbs.
If' they're trying to pull off a leecher manouver, let them know why the legitimate uploaders will be "concerned" (offended). But try not to drive them away. A quick "what if you upped a set of files and somebody came along and took them without returning the favor?" should chastise them, if they're not a hardcore thief lol
And if they reply with "ftw," there's really no need to cuss them out, according to the site philosophy that I'm guessing at. Kill 'em with kindness: "Sorry, no can do, have a nice day" lol
But, I repeat, in my heart, you done good.
