That's actually how I got into anime LOL Saw a Kanu figure that was great-looking and so picked up Ikkitousen; was going to watch it but then someone recommended Elfen Lied and I was totally blown away! I watched the whole thing in one sitting LOL
The figures are a good way to keep the series "living on" after it's all over ;-)
