In the "old days" the games were impossible... but you wouldn't mind trying over and over until you got it right. Back then the games would resume simply on button smashing and if one enemy pixel touched your character you would die and go over the entire level again... it was hell on a cartrige, but still we finished those games.
Nowadays, you can save your game on every corner, and when you finish the game the most probable thing you will do is to never play it again.... so its not a problem if you aren't that good on the game...
Putting it simply, my younger self would kick my bony ass on about any game of today... thus voted on "Harder Then"...
