I do it only because krono represents more of who i am than my original name (alejandro), but i think everyone chose a nickname for different reasons, not precisely for hidding their identities (some do), besides the nickname was chosen by you, and how do you see yourself, how you felt that particular moment or just because you wanted to make a joke, while your name was chosen by your parents, sometimes without even thinking the meaning of the name
