well my advice (this will come arund $800 or so):

AMD Athlon 64 X2 you decide what tipe (is half the price of a Intel but it has its minuses)
At least 2 GB ddr or even more
And now for a video card: I recoman the new ATI Radeon HD3870 (same is much cheaper then nvidia but for this price it is worth it)
And with the rest you can decide what to buy but i think you can get at least a 500 GB HDD if you buy a mobo at 100-150$.
